The two characters i pick are sonny and quentin because in the begining they werent like eachother at all but now as they get closer they start to get more and more like each other.
I dont think i could be friends with either of them because they rae so smart. I dont think i could keep up.

The two characters are Sonny and Homer(the dad). The differences are that they have completely different interests in what they like. Sonny hates the mine and love to build rockets while Homer mining job is like his life. Homer spends most of his time at work and Sonny just love to study hard so he can complete a working rocket but they both are good people.

The two charaters I choose is Homer and Sonny. Homer Is hardworking. So is Sonny. They both are ambitious. They both want different things though. They both are stubborn. I would be Sonnys friend because hes a loyal friend and he goes for what he wants. I wouldnt be Homers friend because hes too hardworking.

SONNY AND HIS MOTHER ARE SIMILAR IN WAYS THEY ARE SIMILAR BECAUSE THEY BOTH WANT TO GET OUT OF COAL WOOD AND DO SOMETHING BETTER IN THEIR LIFE AND THEY BOTH DONT REALLY LIKE THE MINE BACAUSE THATS ALL SONNY'S DAD THINKS ABOUT AND HE PUTS THE MINE BEFORE ANYTHING. I WOULDNT REALLY BE A GOOD FRIEND WITH SONNY BUT I WOULD TALK TO HIM IN THE HALL WAY IF I WAS TO SEE HHIM BECAUSE HE DOES TRY TO DO SOMETHING IN HIS LIFE.

The diffrences that they have is tha one is book smart and also one is not book smart he is good with his hands. I dnt think that i will be good friends with them because i am not really into rockets like they are.

Sonny and his dad, Homer, are similar but different. Both characters are stubborn, and driven. Sonny and Homer both know that hard work gets you far. Sonny and Homer are different to. Sonny likes rockets and engineering, and learning things that help better him with his rockets. He thinks that the mine is going to die out, and doesn’t want anything to do with the mine. Sonny’s dad, Homer, doesn’t like Sonny building rockets. He doesn’t think that Sonny’s capable of going to college or becoming a rocket engineer. He wants Sonny to go into the mine and take over his job when he can no longer work at it. The stubbornness that both characters have causes them to fight and not understand what the other is trying to say.
I would be friends with Sonny because he’s a nice guy and doesn’t really care what people think. He could also teach me rocketry and different things. I wouldn’t want to be friends with Homer because he’s more "my way or the highway", Sonny’s more open to ideas and change then Homer, and I couldn’t be friends with someone who isn’t open to change because, change is happening every day.

Two characters that I chose on Rocket Boys are Sonny and Homer. Sonny and Homer are different from each other because Sonny loves to build rockets and Homer loves to work in the mines. They are similar to each other because Sonny and Homer are both dedicated to their work. I wouldn't become friends with them in real life because I think they are both just plaing strange and don't think about much things besides what they like the most in their lives. Also because they seem to be boring in many ways and don't do anything fun.

the characters i choose are Sonny and his father Homer.Sonny loves what he does, he likes do build rockets, he's smart, he has determination, and he is strong willed. Homer loves to do what he does, he loves to mine (so much its like his second home)he is courageous, and brave. the differences between them are that Sonny likes rockets and Homer likes mining, Sonny wants to be a rocket engineer whereas his father wants him to be a mining engineer but Sonny wants to build rockets with Werner Von Braun.
Sonny and Homer have some similarities and some differences. Both Sonny and Homer love what they do. Sonny loves rocketry and Homer loves the mine. Their biggest difference is the fact that Homer want sonny to work in the mine but Sonny has his mind set on attending college.
